Analysis is the iterative conceptual engineering process of merging the knowns of what we currently have and how the system or building operates, with what we want to achieve and how we want the building or process to operate, and exploring the options to build the pathway between where we are and where we want to be, based on experience and knowledge of existing system and current technology.
Analytics: We start with the data. The data results from discovery and boots on the ground to determine the starting point. Building or system metrics define the expected end result. Between them may be any number of viable options for the system. Parallel concept modeling and creative application of alternative technologies, combined with financial sensitivity analysis and engagement with the client yields best fit solutions for the owner.
We rely on the numbers, the measurements taken and data gathered during discovery to provide the foundation for design and advance projects in a solid meaningful method. When presenting projects to clients we provide the Basis of Design (BOD) documents that have been critically peer reviewed. A cold eye peer review uncovers weaknesses that the design engineering team may not have seen or been aware of, and collaboratively strengthens the design.
